5 house plants that will certainly clean your office air.

Keeping house plants can be a hobby that really gives something back, making spaces look, feel and even smell fresh.  For those avid indoor gardeners this can give a sense of pride and elated emotions producing plants that are certainly beneficial to your home or your office.  Certain house plants help purify indoor air removing harmful organic compounds (VOC's) along with other pollutants, which will almost definitely improve your office air quality which will certainly give you a healthier and cleaner working environment.

1. Aloe Vera.

This short stemmed succulent has been used in alternative medicines for hundreds of years.  The gel inside this plant is used in treating cuts and burns.  What a lot of people do not know is that it is an efficient air cleaner!  Aloe Vera requires little water which means it is a good hard to kill choice for your desk!

2. English Ivy.

Although the English Ivy is a more common sight outside this plant is actually a great trailing indoor plant.  This evergreen climber actually eats up VOC's which will leave your stale office air more fresh and cleaner.

3.  Peace Lily.

These plants are absolutely ideal for office environments as they do not need much watering or even light.  NASA's clean air study revealed that Peace lilies actually remove benzene, formaldehyde, ammonia and other known nasties out of your office air!

4.  Golden Pothes.

This evergreen plant certainly does not require the kid glove treatment.  It is an attractive leafy plant which will look great in any little space you have in the office.  A study on these tiny evergreens shows they also rid the air of pollutants such as formaldehyde, xylene and benzene.  This houseplant is also knowns as Devils Ivy or Silver Vine can grow an astonishing 65ft tall so it makes for a great foliage!

5.  Spider Plant.

NASA has shown that these plants get rid of formaldehyde, xylene and also tolvene.  The Spider Plant can withstand neglect probably better than most house plants.  They make baby Spider plants all the time!

Timesaving cleaning tip from your professional house cleaning company

Most of us when knowing you have to clean the house don't actually have a plan on where to start.  Firstly its a good idea if your on your phone a lot to turn it off!  Just a simple suggestion as many people get sidetracked which then causes your jobs to take a lot longer than they should otherwise.
I always start with the simple jobs first quickly and easily so that then you feel more motivated to tackle those bigger cleaning tasks such as the kitchen and bathrooms.
I normally suggest starting on either your living room, dining room or even your home office as being the best rooms to start your cleaning but this depends on the household you live in.  Once these tasks are out the way you will then feel like you have gotten somewhere and have some sense of achievement which then motivates you to start those other jobs.
Just another quick tip from your favourite cleaning company Clean Queen

Another great tip for using your dishwasher to clean other items

Is your toothbrush holder looking grimy?

How about putting it into your dishwasher!
It will clean your grimy toothbrush holder effortlessly along with other items such as your soap dishes, dish drains, plus much more including range hood filters.  If your item is hard plastic, glass, ceramic or metal and it will fit, then just bang them all in the dishwasher!!

How to clean that dirty microwave!

This is another cleaning task that many people put off!  The longer you leave it the harder it becomes and the more germs gather inside which can cause serious health problems but hey Im not going to bang on about illness's and stuff :] I'll leave that for you to think about!
Take a microwavable safe bowl and fill it with water.  Just add a dash of vinegar and place the bowl inside the microwave and shut the door.  Turn on the microwave for 5 minutes.  During this time the water will turn to steam and the steam will soften up all the grime and gunk.  The vinegar will help absorb any smells.  Wipe down with a micro fibre cloth and leave to dry. Simple.

Another great tip from Chester's leading premiere cleaning company Clean Queen.

Please feel free to share my posts or if you think they will be of any help to anyone please let them know.

Kind regards.

Another job you may hate doing!

One of the nations least favourite chores as well as cleaning your oven is actually cleaning out your fridge!
Well not to worry, don't despair.
When you are finally feeling up to the task simply take out all the food in your refrigerator and place neatly on the side of one of your worktops. Now take out all the drawers and any shelves that can fit into your sink. Fill up your sink with steaming hot water, vinegar, baking soda and also a bit of dish soap. Using a dish brush scrub away all the grime from the drawers and also the shelves. You can sprinkle baking soda on the larger shelves.  Then add a splash of vinegar and also a real lemon juice before scrubbing away all the grime with your dish brush. You may have to put a bit of elbow grease into it but the end product you will have a sparkly clean refrigerator smelling really nice. Do not forget to do the sides of your fridge.
A paper towel or a micro fibre cloth is always good to wipe away all the wet mess and will leave a streak free shine!
Rinse your smaller shelves and draws you have already done in the sink and leave to dry.  Once dry place them back where they belong along with all your food nice and neatly. There you go…job well done.

8 house cleaning tips you won't know how you lived without from your very own Chester cleaning company.

8 simple and genius house cleaning tips from the leading premiere house cleaners in Chester

The following tips are using stuff around the house that you never knew you could use for simple and effective cleaning tips.

Using vinegar and baking soda did you know you can end up with a super clean dishwasher?

When running your next load in the dishwasher, place a dishwasher safe cup, filled with white vinegar on the top rack and add baking soda to the bottom rack. Make sure you still use your detergent like normal. The combination of all 3 will not only clean your dishes but your dishwasher itself will be sparkly clean.

Cleaning your wooden cutting boards using lemon and salt:

Simply sprinkle wooden cutting boards down coarse salt and rub down with a cut lemon.  Rinse with soap and dry with a tea towel.

Oven cleaning tip:  Make sure your oven is absolutely cold for this one!

Place half a cup of ammonia into a bowl and close the oven door overnight.  The fumes from the ammonia will loosen all the dirt and will then be simple to wipe down the next day.

Did you know tin foil can be used for cleaning?

Just crumple up a piece of tin foil to remove baked on food from your glass cookware.  Its actually easier on your hands than steel wool!

Bread slice - Use bread to pick up broken glass.

Seriously its easier than using a cloth and you can just throw it away as soon as you are done.  The glass sticks to the bread which allows you to pick it up easily and helps you to gather the small bits that a brush might well miss!

Chalk for grease stain removal!

Yes another item you may have in a draw or your kids bedroom a piece of chalk can be used for grease stain removal.  Before you put your item of clothing in the wash simply rub the grease stains with your piece of chalk.  The dust will absorb the grease and will all be rinsed away in the wash!

Glitter all over the place?

Another great piece of kids kit is Play Do.  Alls you have to do is press the play-do onto the loose glitter! Simple as that!

Do your make up brushes need cleaning?

Using baby shampoo simply wash and rinse your make up brushes and blot them to see if any more make up is remaining.  Once clean make sure you hang them upside down to dry so that no water collects inside the handles.

I will be writing more tips soon so please feel free to EMAIL ME if you would like me to send you anymore.
